True. True. There is no doubt that only when we obey the precepts we already know can we obtain more wisdom. And in the even that we do not follow what we know, we will lose what understanding we have. At one end of the spectrum there is total confusion and absolute captivity in ignorance, on the other is complete understanding and total freedom.
