kenzers7 Posted September 15, 2013 Report Posted September 15, 2013 Is it okay to send short emails to a missionary you had previously dated? I don't send romantic stuff, just encouraging emails. Is this okay? And how often is enough? Quote
john doe Posted September 16, 2013 Report Posted September 16, 2013 It's fine as long as you are encouraging them in their work and aren't distracting them from it. Quote
Janus3003 Posted October 5, 2013 Report Posted October 5, 2013 It's fine, but I'll add that you may want to make sure it's okay with his mission rules. On my mission, we could only send emails to immediate family members and the mission president. Quote
skippy740 Posted October 5, 2013 Report Posted October 5, 2013 Yes, it is permissible. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it, even with appropriate content. Why? Because it WILL be a distraction for him. He may wonder why you're writing and what your intentions may be. Even though your content is okay, I wouldn't recommend it. Just my opinion being a guy. Backroads Posted October 5, 2013 Report Posted October 5, 2013 While I can't think of anything necessarily wrong about it... it still remains a cruel thing to do to a teenaged boy... Quote
