Rice Posted November 19, 2013 Report Posted November 19, 2013 (edited) Hi all! I have been a Christian for about 10 years now, although have always felt there is something missing. I first learnt about Church of Latterday Saints of Jesus Christ when I was at school and since then, I have always felt a pull to it. It as always confused me why there are so many different denominations and never really knew which one as true. I hope to use this forum to help me learn more about the church and Mormonism and understand what God is pulling me to. I have a church near me, although have always been too afraid to go there on Sundays. I don't know anyone who is Mormon, so this makes it harder. I am used to more pentecostal churches - so hundreds of people - where it is easier to be anonymous if that's what you want. It's all a little overwhelming to think of a smaller church where I would stand out to everyone as somebody new. But, having felt God pull me this way for a number means I don't want to give up. I need to take the next step! Edited November 19, 2013 by Rice Quote
Tzesaro Posted November 19, 2013 Report Posted November 19, 2013 Welcome :) I'm sure they don't bite at the church near you, if you ever go :). Although... I suppose there are always some eccentric people out there. Quote
jbeggs Posted November 20, 2013 Report Posted November 20, 2013 Visitors are always welcome at LDS church services. I'm sure they would be thrilled to have you visit. When you're ready. Quote
