I believe (personally experienced) that when we learn that we had a pre mortal life we begin to remember elements and parts of our pre mortal life.  I believe we come to remember more as we learn and experience spiritual things during our mortal lives.  I am inclined to believe this will continue on a much larger scale as we pass on from mortality and that by time we are prepared for and ready to meet with the Father and Christ at what is called the final judgment – that we will have full knowledge of all we have experienced in all our existence (which is eternal) up to that point – and perhaps a full understanding of our future as well.  But I am inclined to think and believe that we will also already be resurrected at that point as well.  I do not know why we call it “the final judgment” when all things to be judged and remember have actually happened and completed???
