Which Southern California city should I vacation in?

I'm planning a spring vacation to Socal and I'm trying to decide between visiting San Diego or Los Angeles. Which city is a better vacation spot and why? By Lon Angeles I mean Anaheim.

For DISNEYLAND of course! The mouse never disappoints.

How long do you plan on staying, I would say Anaheim for sure but if you are down there long enough take a day and go San Diego, it's only and hour and a half away and it's a nice city to visit. The temple is beautiful there, we didn't go inside but walked around the grounds.

@NeedleinA I wish I had know about the visitor's center when we went down there. I have an ancestor who served in the Mormon Battalion. It's on the top of my list of things I want to do when I go to California next!

Why go to Kalifornia at all?  I grew up in Los Angeles and I figure if God were to give this country an enema, he'd shove it in L.A.  What a cesspool.  I hear San Diego is nicer.

Seriously though, San Diego or bust. I've heard nothing but great things. Mostly from beer people, but also from a few people who don't drink beer. In fact, my parents were married in the SD Temple.
