IMO, verse 14 tells us that doing good is the reward:

Quote

14 Therefore, my son,

1. see that you are merciful unto your brethren;
2. deal justly,
3. judge righteously,
4. and do good continually;

and if ye do all these things then shall ye receive your reward; yea,

1. ye shall have mercy restored unto you again;
2. ye shall have justice restored unto you again;
3. ye shall have a righteous judgment restored unto you again;
4. and ye shall have good rewarded unto you again.

...and given that this chapter is all about the resurrection, IMO, these are the heavenly rewards we should expect - be merciful and you will become a merciful person, deal justly and you will become a just person, etc.  Also, we can expect the Lord to be merciful with us, deal justly with us, etc.

In short, we don't earn Reward B for Action A, we become Being A through Action A.
