MorningStar Posted January 18, 2008 Report Posted January 18, 2008 Years ago my sister-in-law's parents relocated temporarily to Canada for a job and left their food storage in a storage unit by their condo they had my brother and his wife stay in. One day my sister-in-law got a phone call that her parents' unit had been broken into plus one other. She had no idea what was in there and was afraid something valuable or sentimental had been taken. It turns out the thiefs had broken into their unit first and saw nothing but bags of wheat and other foods! So they moved onto another one. I wish I could've seen the looks on their faces after they worked so hard to break in, only to find cannery food! They didn't take anything. Quote
Gwen Posted January 18, 2008 Report Posted January 18, 2008 that is funny. i had a seminary teacher that had her car broken into and her scriptures stolen (nothing else). she was upset cause she had just gotten a new set and gotten it maked good for her seminary lessons. she had a nice quilted case with pockets for all the other stuff she would need in class all she could figure is they looked through the window and thought it was a purse. imagine the surprise when they found scriptures rather than money and credit cards. lol Quote
