I think the fact that God created the earth/solar system and universe and we are His offspring ...makes it quite obvious it was an enlightened and advanced society...Do you know of anyone who can create a universe? Rodney Posted June 6, 2004 Report Posted June 6, 2004 Tell me old wise one, who created the creator? I assume you know. Quote
Setheus Posted June 6, 2004 Report Posted June 6, 2004 No one created God. Just as He did not create our intellegence. If God had a begining then that would mean He has an end. And God is without days or years. Quote
Rodney Posted June 6, 2004 Report Posted June 6, 2004 That's just too incomprehensible for my stupid mind. Guess that explains all my stupid posts. How can something/anything not have a creator? Isn't that an old anti-atheist claim? You know, the even-a-clock-has-a-maker routine? Quote
Nicodemus Posted June 7, 2004 Report Posted June 7, 2004 I heard one claim once (clearly anti-Mormon) that the LDS believe that the war in heaven determined our outcome in the next estate. Like those who fought against the Lord became demons, those who fought valiantly were born into this world as caucasian, and those who stood aside and watched were cursed with a skin of blackness. What inspired them to claim that you believe such? And what about the Chinese? There's like not quite yet a billion and a half of us- were we cooking at the time or something? Quote
Guest Starsky Posted June 7, 2004 Report Posted June 7, 2004 LOL...what I understand is that we 'chose' our situation here before we came....so as to gain those particular experiences...Experience is why we are here....Experience...is good. Quote
