aeglyn Posted March 31 Report Posted March 31 Moonlight Dreams Moonlight dreams The moon pours rich, it's silvered glow Upon yon sylvan hills. Whence forth the bawdy cricket's row Serenading fervent trills. Thus forward into bed, I head To part with mindless cares. To sleep, nay dream!, instead Of kisses sweet and fair. Or merry flights across treetops And dancing with the winds. Of wondrous slides that ne'er do stop And pillowed landing ends. Remember I, when all is still, Delicious fancies o' the night. Memories loved, exalted thrills In wandered sleep, take flight. So lay me down in slumbered rest No more the day's encumbrance bear To suckle my delusion's breast And feast upon this moonlit fare. -Aeglyn 2012 zil2 1 Quote
