He was in a very serious accident at work this past weekend, and needed emergency surgery . . . they weren't sure if he would live at first, but according to lindy's update, sounds like he's pulling through! :)

I was wondering if anyone (Lindy perhaps?) has heard how Nick's doing. He and SF have been in my thoughts and prayers constantly and I was hoping someone might have an update on his situation.

I thought of Jacob too, especially with the obvious reference to the "Jacob's Ladder Dream" . . . but then I remembered that Jacob meant "supplanter" and then realised it might just be referring to Israel . . . I felt smart for once in my silly little life when I found out I was right! LOL

Out of curiosity Cal, on the same vein, would you think the Church should subsidise fertility treatments for those who cannot have children?
