I don't think Amy is bashing the movie makers. She brings up a valid point. We think movies that poke fun at Mormon situations are funny when they are put out by Mormon movie makers but what if they were not members of the church?? Huh? I am puzzled as to how I would feel. I think I would still laugh if the situations in the movie were honest to real happenings or at least respected our beliefs. It is hard to say though. Being open minded is not always easy for us. ← Thank you Tammy!!

AMY calm down...........this is not a place to bash.......first of all i know people who make these movies and you are wrong....what do you know about them? Have you even seen them? and yes they are Mormon,.......Get your facts stait before you bash.............actually donrt even bashhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ← no no no..... I clearly did not state that message the way I wanted it to be... I am just wondering if a non-member made the movies would you still think they are funny.... I don't know anything about the people that made the movies that is why I said ASSUMING... and I have never seen them nor do I want to.. but from all the reviews I have heard and seen from my friends and elsewhere those movies 'make fun' of LDS steriotypes.... so I just wanted to know if you would think it is funny if a non-member did it... if this still does not sound right to you then never mind.. I will take the topic out.. and I promise I really was not trying to bash anything.. I am really just curious...

ok I was just wondering how many of ya'll have seen the movies such as: The Singles Ward, The RM, and movies like that? well that is not the question the question is: Well assuming that the writers and the 'in-charge' people who were 'in-charge' of making these movies are members. How many of you would still think the movies are funny if the 'in-charge' people were not members? just a few random people that got together one day and decided to make fun of mormons? How many of you would think that is appropriate? or would you think that is prejudiced? and if you don't think it would be ok for a non-member to make that movie.. what makes it ok for a member to do it?? Just let me know.. Thanks!

My kids like the cd's from singlesward, RM & home teachers, the songs from Primary and some Hyms are done with a little pazzaz!............... ← I think that the soudtrack from singles ward and all those stupid movies are HORRIBLE... they take church music and drive the spirit out with the changed lyrics and the drums and guitars.. and whatever else they do to the music.. I HATE it.. I think it is horrible and disrespectful!!

I don't know what ya'll are talking about target banning christmas stuff... do ya'll not see the target commercials on tv EVERY day advertising their holiday specials? Well anyway.. I live in Canada and clearly there are no target stores here.. but if there was one I would sure shop there.. they have hecka good deals on all the time!!! I always think of driving down to minot just to take part in the good deals!!!!... ya'll should take advantage of what you have.. and stop being a bunch of babies.. there will always be somebody in the world who will make you mad.. so just ###### it up and deal with it.. LOL... ya'll it is the government.. they rape you any way and any time they get the chance!!! and you will be paying all these taxes for the rest of your life!! so get used to it I guess!!... either that or go into politics and you can benefit from all the taxes the rest of the country pays!!! yeah Canada the property taxes!! Thanks for that great post Ben Raines.... I get a bit protective about our military personnel sometimes. Lost a friend in Iraq last year, and know many who are in the military. Good man who stands when the flag passes....not a lot of respect is shown anymore for our flag or our country. This is a reply from a long time ago!!... but I am not even from the states and I have an American flag on my wall... a huge one in fact right over the head of my bed. So you could say that I sleep under the protection of an American flag every night!!.... Go figure me being the pure blood canuck that I am!!!!.... but actually the American flag is my favorite flag of all those I have seen. and the Union Jack comes in with a close second!!!

I am a CANUCK!!!! Born bred and raised!!!!.... I am not sure if Mr. Dressup was aired in the states maybe not I think it was on CBC but he is dead now.. That was a SAD SAD day when we found out Mr. Dressup had died. Very sad indeed! but you really should find a way to watch him!! He was a COOL man!! and Casey and Finnagan back in the day were WAY cool too!!! So I suggest to anyone who has not seen it.. to get your hands on a copy any way you can!!!! Keep Mr. Dressups memory alive!!!!! you RIP Mr. D!!!

ha ha....My childhood right there yo!!!! lol... I remember skip-its!!! SO MUCH FUN!! I have a pink one!!.... Do you remember the ghetto skips-its... you go into your mums drawer get some pantyhose cut the legs off and put a tennis ball in the end... then tie a loop in the other end!!! But then your brothers would scam them and use them as a weapon to beat you up.. then they would get in trouble for beating you up but then you would get in trouble for cutting up your mums pantyhose!!! LOL... Ahhh the good ole days!!!..... I think I remember Under the umbrella tree.... MAYBE... I would have to see it again.. I remember My Pet Monster though.... ANYONE else?.... Rainbow Bright, all those fun shows!!! Mr. Dressup, Sesame Street... I wish they had cool cartoons like that these days!!!... but NO... they have CRAZY cartoons these days!!... but I have to admit that Dora is pretty darn cool!!!!!
