There have been many times when i considered changing jobs LOL ..but that always passes. I do love my Job. Fortunately looks like in the very near future I will be taking over a more supervisory role .. which has the advantage of me being able to work the schedule a bit ... as well as working in the field when the wander lust takes over :) Thank you for the kind welcome reading through this site has truly been an eye opener for so many things :)

All I can say is True Dat ...

I am an avid outdoorsmen ... love fishing ..snowmobiling hunting etc .... but my true passion is sailing .. I have been a member of the western Canadian Sailing team for many years .. as an active sailor and now as a coach and instructor ....in 1992 I won both the national and North American regattas .making me national champion in the laser 2 boats .. as for my avatar pic .. well it is winter so cant sail .. so I play hockey in an "old timers" league.. my jersey .. is my University of Minnesota hockey jersey

Even if it is not True I think us Canucks should start this as a Tradition .. and In generations To come ..our great great grand kids can say ... they started this day on LDS.Net OHHHHH CANADA :)

Good Morning friends , This is actually a subject I joined the site to specifically look into. those that read my Introduction will know I am new not only to this site but my journey of discovery in the Church of latter day saints . I can recall the day the Elders came to me and spoke of the WoW , now I knew it would be tough for me as I was a smoker and well I loves my Red Bull and NOS Energy drinks. well the smoking there was no question about .. and well I have been smoke free for about 7 weeks . When they mentioned the no hot drinks ( coffee and tea specifically ) I knew I may have Issues, I work 16 or 17 hour days usually starting very early in the A.M. Well I asked the two Elders and our ward president ( who came over to my place for a visit as we share a couple of hobbies and he wanted to meet me ) what is the Deal with energy drinks and coke .. well believe it or not they were split .. one of the elders and President Merrill said it would be fine ..it wasn't healthy ( which goes without saying ) but it doesn't say anything about them in the WoW the other elder believed I should just up and quit the caffeine .. so the different opinions there didn't help .. But now at least I know I am not alone in wondering about this and reading all sides of this issue here has at least given me some things to think about .. thank you folks God Bless and have a good weekend all P.S. Thank you Maureen, :) I worked up in `The Patch `last summer as a safety advisor at a couple of different sites beautiful .beautiful province :) And Thank you Dakota , this does look like a wonderful place to find answers, actually I came as a visitor a few times before signing up tonight and was able to show the Elders the site during a visit earlier this week and were glad I had found a place such as this for reasearch

Well I should start by Introducing Myself , My name is Henri ( although most call me Hank ) I am from a small paper mill town in Northwestern Ontario Canada called Fort Frances. I guess I am what you would call a Golden Investigator, have had several lessons, and wonderful chats with the Missionaries , but have not yet had the chance to Be baptized ( my job takes me out of town and my work also has me on call or at work on Sundays ughhh) well I decided I should join the site after reading various posts that helped me with my studies of the Book of Mormon .. looks like a great resource material with fine people.
