By the way, this cell is about 12.5 micrometers long. Do you know how small that is? Do you know how big a millimeter is? That's usually the smallest tick on most metric rulers. A micrometer is 1/1000 of that. Eighty (80) of these cells, lined up end to end, would add up to a millimeter.
