Nope. She attempted to cancel the sealing so she could be sealed to another man. They had to be married civilly instead since the cancellation was denied. That marriage ended disastrously as the man she was married to wound up being convicted of some awful crimes.

My best friend was denied a cancellation to her sealing but since then the benefits of that denial have become quite evident.

As a temple worker I can tell you that we love any time families can come together to the Temple to do any sort of work. Even if they are spread out doing different things. It always brings a wonderful spirit when they do. :)

My brother and I were both adopted and our family was sealed together when I was six. I remember after the sealing my dad lifted me up so I could look into the mirrors on either side of the altar. They are right across from each other so when you face the mirror and look into it you can see "forever." So as we stood there as a family and gazed it seemed as though we went on for an eternity. It was pretty amazing - that's what I remember :) (Also, they always tell the people who volunteer to clean the temple not to look in those mirrors while vacuuming because it will appear as though they'll be stuck vacuuming for an eternity )

Hello lovely people! I was here for a short time awhile ago and now I am back! Although possibly not for long because I'm about to turn in mission papers. Anyway, I'm 32, live in New Mexico and love to enjoy life. I'm hooked on music, reading, writing, learning, excellent conversation and getting to know people. I have a firm testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and a deep love for my Heavenly Father and my Savior. Looking forward to visiting here until I leave :)

I saw a scratch-n-sniff shirt at Old Navy the other day while my friend was shopping for clothes for her kids. Maybe that would work. Maybe a new line of clothes for men? Shirts that smell like food? ...... on purpose?
