2 Nephi 12:2 And it came to pass in the last days, when the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills, and all nations shall flow unto it. Why is it that this scripture is only interpreted as the SL temple? (LDS interpretation) I believe it has other meanings. Does anyone else?

You can assume anything you like. I already told you that it's not your business. You have proved me correct. It is anyone's business who posts here. No one, including yourself, likes to be harassed.Yet that is what you are doing.

Actually no. The temple was His house. The merchants were trespassers, He didn't destroy property, He overturned tables and He drove out (caused to leave) the animals. Well, as far as his feelings when he was doing this, the BoM teaches: "He doeth not anything save it be for the benefit of the world; for he loveth the world..." 2 Nephi 26:24. So while you are correct that we may not know what He was feeling, the scriptures give a pretty good clue as to His motives.

Does that mean Jesus was angry? I think you are assuming from His actions that he must have been angry. The actions he took may not have been from anger. There is no mention of anger in scripture:"and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves. And would not suffer that any man should carry any vessel through the temple. And as he taught, saying unto them, Is it written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves. And the scribes and chief priests heard it, and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, because all the people was astonished at his doctrine." Mark 11:15-18. "And he went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold therein, and them that bought; Saying unto them, It is written My house is the house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves." Luke 19:45-46. "And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting: And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables; And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of merchandise." John 2:14-16. It looks as if it was one heck of a teaching tool though. The scribes and chief priests were not afraid because Jesus overturned the tables, they were afraid because the people who saw Jesus do this were "astonished at his doctrine."

Maybe this helps shed some light on this:"that which ye call anger was the truth..." 2 Nephi 1:26 I thought it was kind of odd that the "wrath of God" was so prevalent while we are also taught ""God is love." 1 John 4:8.The anger or wrath appears to be how the natural man perceives the Lord because the scriptures also teach: "Fury is not in me..." Isaiah 27:4. The anger and fury is in man. This is further confirmed in the Book of Mormon: "the guilty taketh the truth to be hard, for it cutteth them to the very center." 1 Nephi 16:2 as well as 2 Nephi 1:26. It is OUR anger at the truth. Man is asleep; he can wake up and accept the truth or he can get ticked off and stay asleep.

You give good advice here Biz. Some of what you write is what I have been trying to communicate to Tr2. Is this board to your liking? Do you respond to posts you don't agree with? There maybe be somethings I post that upset you or you disagree with. Does that mean I should be subject to you disparaging me? Just because someone might have what could be known as a "radical" idea or thought, does that mean they should be harassed because of it? If Snow is not accurate in his description of a church you have hardly attended, and you know he is inaccurate in his account, then maybe you could be kinder in your posts on this LDS board. The people who post here deserve the same consideration that you gave John Arnott when you had lunch with him. Did you tell him his views were idiocy and had no value? Did you tell him tough luck? Did you harass him like you do Peace? We are judged by the intentions of our heart. I think I always knew what your intentions were posting here. Snow, Thank you for answering me. I appreciate your effort. I always enjoy your posts. You are intelligent and make me laugh. How did you learn so much about Tr2? Tr2, Is what Snow is posting about your church accurate? Does your church have a message board I could go to and possibly post on? I promise I won't be anti and call them idiots and say they have no value. Snow is right. I believe most people are kind hearted. And I also believe that Jesus was and still is married.
