  1. Never dealt with many of the gays in my life. Though, I have dealt with SSA in my younger (14-16) years. Most of the urges left after seeing the pained look in my family's eyes when I told them about it. Now to ever think about those old urges, brings a horrid disgust.
  2. Amen. Especially those long days spent watching some new stress relief presentation.
  3. Hello all, I am 18 Years of age, and I live in Central Arkansas. I was baptized into the LDS Church 2 years ago. I left the Church for awhile, due to my mental illness putting me through *ahem* heck, and I had to be removed from a religious environment. After a bit of downtime away from the Church, and a quick stay at the psych hospital, I found myself wanting to come back to the Church. I have currently starting going to Sacrament Meeting again, and have been welcomed back to the fold. :)
  4. LDS, or Mormon if they don't recognize LDS. When I spent a week in the hospital, every new guy or girl had to tell us what Religion they were. Oddly, yet positive enough, I had to reexplain what I believe to all the new folks coming in.
  5. Thank you all so much for helping me. I have a meeting with the Bishop coming up, and I will discuss this with him. EDIT: I am having to be treated daily for it. Sadly, most of my 'Delusions' are ones that violence can quickly spring up with.
  6. It was the General Statement. No one at Church knows I have Schizophrenia.
  7. I was just told that it is my duty to go on a full time Mission. I don't believe I could handle it, but I will do what I gotta do.
  8. Thankyou. Forgive my ignorance, I have only been a member for a year now.
  9. I don't trust my Bishop, and the Stake President is out to get me. Paranoid Schizophrenia is what I have. I go to day treatment for it, so I don't have to go into full hospitalization.
  10. Hello all, I am curious if the Mentally Ill can still go on a Mission.
