  1. If "first flesh" = "first man" then I would agree with that interpretation.
  2. Moses 3:7 is either in error or the interpretation is in error. Look at Moses 2 you'll see that in chapter 2 it says animals were created before man. So, if this is true, then how could Adam be the 'first flesh'?
  3. Gen. 1:25 clearly shows that animals were created before Adam. Also, Moses 1:34 says "And the first man of all men have I called Adam, which is many." So, if you believe the book of Moses, then wouldn't this indicate that Adam was the first man on this planet? Wouldn't that negate the possibility of a pre-Adamite race?
  4. "Now hear it, O inhabitants of the earth, Jew and Gentile, Saint and sinner! When our father Adam came into the garden of Eden, he came into it with a celestial body, and brought Eve, one of his wives, with him. He helped to make and organize this world. He is MICHAEL, the Archangel, the ANCIENT OF DAYS! about whom holy men have written and spoken—He is our FATHER and our GOD, and the only God with whom WE have to do." Journal of Discourses Volume 1.
  5. According to Brigham Young, Adam was not created or "formed" on planet earth. He came here with Eve, one of his wives, and according to B.Y. he was the god of this world.
  6. Aren't you forgetting about Jared's barges? No need for them if the earth was just one land mass.
  7. Moses 3:7 seems to be in error since the animals were made before Adam, and they are certainly as much "flesh" as we are.
  8. So you believe falsely accusing our Savior Jesus Christ of a false prophecy is "play[ing] nicely"? Do you really believe this is a "false prophecy"? Or is it more likely that you just don't understand how to interpret the passage in it's entire context.
  9. And when exactly was this prophecy supposed to have been fulfilled?
  10. Explain to me how I implied Orson Pratt was being "dishonest" by publishing the so-called civil war prophecy. Basically, what you are doing is nothing more than mud-slinging. I simply stated a fact and you have yet to provide any response to refute the facts that I have stated.
  11. Chapters 2 and 3 of Gospel Principles talks about "heavenly parents". Gospel Principles Gospel Principles
  12. It still calls them spirits and not men of flesh and blood (or bone). I noticed in verse 103 it says "These are they who are liars, and sorcerers, and adulterers, and whoremongers, and whosoever loves and makes a lie."Is verse 103 talking about those who will inherit Telestial glory?
  13. Why would anyone convert to a church they were not 100% sure of? Personally, I choose to place my faith and trust in a person (Jesus the Christ) and not in a man-made organization. No matter how good the organization may be operated nor how nice the people are. Jesus Christ is in whom we must place our faith and trust in and no one else.
  14. Acts 4:12 simply means that Eternal Life (Salvation) can only be obtained by (or through) Jesus Christ and that nobody else can grant this type of life, not Buddha, not Krishna, not Moses and not even Joseph Smith.
