  1. When I baptized I never felt the "spirit" coming to me and to reasure my testimony. But, then I gave it a second chance, but this time for myself, not because a crush on a missionary or the promise of marriage from a church man. I did it for me, and now, look at me, I can`t stay one sunday without attending. Like the man above me said, give it a second chance.
  2. HOLD THE PHONE! I just read this post more carefully. Are you speaking 'bout Gilbert Scarffs (sp) book, "The Truth About The Godmakers"? No, I am actually talking about the book written by Ed Decker.
  3. A friend of mine send me a book that speaks about this movie and about LDS beliefs and comparsions. I have read some of it and all. Has anyone read it? What do you think of it?
  4. I used/still think that I might adopt instead of having my own children.*shrugs* Too afraid of giving birth. Heh.
  5. What we were trying at some point is to activate some old members with callings. That can be a good idea. Good luck
  6. Probably you are right. I am way too tired to look up the scriptures to think about it, but I was just being annoying because people need to chill out a bit, every thread I have seen has turned into some kind of argument. I don`t know. Love everyone and just be happy.
  7. Never said that helps us to know what he looks like, just said that we once watched him face to face. *shrugs* Heh.
  8. Too many questions for my small head! Chill out everyone!
  9. We all have, we just don`t remember him
  10. Well, if the original writter would`ve given the story the background I agree with you, but if the original writter didn`t and just wrote it, there is no point to it, because people who have read it from the original would just know how the real story is, so there is nothing magical about it. :s
  11. Footsteps on the sand, helped me a lot during hard times and also a missionary friend I had. But, yes, your final point was very clear and very good.
  12. Heh, I probably would be petrified.
  13. Exactly what I was talking about.I wish I had that inspiration and imagination.
  14. Heh, nice affirmation.:) And, Larry Bird, was/is hot.
  15. hmmm... The writting itself is very inspiring.
  16. Not only from christianforums, but christianity forums too, hehe. I wish I knew better what to say in order to make them know the truth. They think they have the truth, but they are so blind.

    O'doul's

LOLEveryone up for water! But it`s not always so tasty I`d go for a good lemonade with no sugar.
  18. Our primary gets all the teachers and there is nothing left for YW or YM. But, that`s not the case. Since we were getting less attention by the bishop for YW, we had to go and write a letter why we need the teachers and we had to show the bishop, in one visit to the class that girls are leaving because of the lack of teachers and a secretary, we made him see with his eyes that is a necesary thing. We are still waiting for them, but soon we`ll get them. But, are you sure your ward has enough people to do the job? Mine doesn`t that is why we have to wait so much.
  19. Heh. Good for them :)
  20. It`s nice to learn more from people...
  21. Thank you. But I have seen there is a bit of controversy about his doctrine, am I right or wrong? If I am right, why is it?
  22. I wish I knew better who McConkie is.

Well, someone ruined his marriage for being online too much and playing online games. They are divorced now.*shrugs* I think everything is okay, with limits.
  24. Very well said.
