I would like to share these verses as evidence of his coming . I'm believing I will go up on one of the three Tribulations ! I agree Roseslipper, I think I forget sometimes that Jesus is rite there with me especially when I am at a low point in life . Back in 2006 I was diagnosed with a Melanoma and those were some rough times . But I found loads of scripture to help keep me anchored to the rock of my salvation. This one comes to mind first . You know my thoughts even when I’m far away. 3 You see me when I travel and when I rest at home. You place your hand of blessing on my head. 6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to understand! 7 I can never escape from your Spirit! I can never get away from your presence! 8 If I go up to heaven, you are there; if I go down to the grave,[a] you are there. 9 If I ride the wings of the morning, if I dwell by the farthest oceans, 10 even there your hand will guide me, and your strength will support me. 11 I could ask the darkness to hide me and the light around me to become night— 12 but even in darkness I cannot hide from you. One thing that has been a real blessing to me is , I try and focus less on how I feel and focus more on what Gods word says about me . I have cleared some tremendous obstacles these last few years by leaning on God's word . [QUOTE][/QUOTE] I agree with Irishcolleen, If we seek God with a humble and repentant heart through his word , we will gain wisdom and understanding from the Holy Spirit . If I follow how I feel then I would be making a serious mistake . It's up to me to line up my life with the word and the Holy Spirit. We can see what happens if we don't . 1 Samuel 15:11 New Living Translation (NLT) 11 “I am sorry that I ever made Saul king, for he has not been loyal to me and has refused to obey my command.” Samuel was so deeply moved when he heard this that he cried out to the Lord all night. I think this verse fits in as well. Jeremiah 17:9 New Living Translation (NLT) 9 “The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked. Who really knows how bad it is? It's awesome to know we can have the Holy Spirit on our side . Luke 1:35 New Living Translation (NLT) 35 The angel replied, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the baby to be born will be holy, and he will be called the Son of God. Luke 12:12 New Living Translation (NLT) 12 for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what needs to be said.” Hebrews 2:4 New Living Translation (NLT) 4 And God confirmed the message by giving signs and wonders and various miracles and gifts of the Holy Spirit whenever he chose.

People can and do change . As followers of Christ all we can do is share the Gospel in a loving way and care enough for that person ( not just say i hope you stay warm, but give him clothes as well)so hopefully they will change their mind . Each time I dig and search God's word with a humble heart , I believe the eye of my heart see a litter clearer even though I use eye glasses ! These physical eyes just aren't getting any better. Jesus says a lot about the vision of our hearts . Someone should have throne a brick and knocked some sense into his head ! Lol But maybe he knew more than we thought . The bible says the second death is the one to be concerned with .

Hi all, My question is concerning faith and works ? Is there a difference between what i believe and the Mormans believe about getting to heaven This scripture describes well how we should live our lives and treat others . Romans 12:9-10 New Living Translation (NLT) 9 Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. 10 Love each other with genuine affection,[a] and take delight in honoring each other. By the scripture I study I am lead to believe that only faith in Christ can save me . Having said that you will know if I have had a true born again experience based on the way I live my life after being born again. I start with this scripture, Romans 10:9-10 New Living Translation (NLT) 9 If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. Theses scripture reminds me that I can't work my way to heaven . Ephesians 2:5-10 New Living Translation (NLT) 5 that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!) 6 For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus. 7 So God can point to us in all future ages as examples of the incredible wealth of his grace and kindness toward us, as shown in all he has done for us who are united with Christ Jesus. 8 God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. 9 Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. 10 For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. Once again Romans tells me if I confess with my mouth and believe in my heart I will be saved . So I believe if those two things took place as I asked Jesus to forgive me of my sins and that I believe in the power of his blood I will be saved . I don't believe anything I could ever do on this earth could ever redeem me from being a sinner . Thank God for the blood of Christ ! Having said that , works absolutely must follow the rest of my life , that's the evidence of being born again as stated in James 2:22 James 2:19 New Living Translation (NLT) 19 You say you have faith, for you believe that there is one God.[a] Good for you!
