I find it truly amazing the ammount of hysteria going along with this flu outbreak. Individual schools, or whole school districts closing because of one confirmed case of the flu! Try to find any instance of that during a reguler flu season. On Wed., based on figures from the CDC I figuered out the percentage of cases in the U.S. It came out to .0000473%. The press is jumping on reports from the W.H.O., but the WHO is always calling for the next health disaster to maintain it's validity, power, and funding. Everyone needs to sit back, take a break, and really look around them.

I'm gonna have to start using silver bullets when reloading...

I've been practicing for retirement- "Welcome to Walmart. Do you need a cart?"- see, I'm getting good at it!

It better not, I will still be short of retirement, and I want to kick back a bit first!

We had our Ward Conference a week ago, and as Ward Membership Clerk it was my job to print out the Sustaining Officers List. There is actually nothing to it if the Ward records are up to date in the MLS (the Church's computer program). All that need to be done is to select the Officers Sustained list, pick ward, stake, branch...etc, and hit print. The Names will be printed out according to the way they are in the Church records.

Getting ready to go in a few minutes. This is my Wife's second GC, first as a member, so this morning's session will be at the Stake House. Then we can either go back for the rest, or watch it online (can't get it in cable here).

President Hinckley passed away quietly this evening at around 7pm Utah time. He is now back with his beloved wife.
