  1. I am so grateful for a Heavenly Father who watches and cares for us. I also know that we are so lucky to have the knowledge of the gospel that we have, that so many others dont. We are truly blessed and thats why we are able to stand as a light to the world, to stand up for the things which we know to be true.
  2. I am in a singles ward and I think that there are age limits because that way they can find more things in common with one another and usually in within 10 years or so. But if it had a 20 years or 30 years then they wouldnt be able to relate with one another as much. Does that make any sense?
  3. The Book of Mormon has always been an inspiration for me. But not until recently have I been studying it and pondering it so that I may learn more from it and so that the Lord can teach in a way that I need to be taught. Where if I ask the right questions, the Lord will answer in certain ways. In ways that are most suited to what we need at the time, depending on what circumstances we are in. I dont just read The Book of Mormon to read it, I read it to know and learn from it so that I may apply it to my life and become closer to my Heavenly Father and my Savior.
  4. I have personally dated someone who was inactive in the church, who hadn't been going for 5 or 6 years. It was a strain thats for sure, and I knew I could never have a serious relationship with him. Because there was something that was far more important, a temple marriage. Its so important to marry someone with the same standards and beliefs and even more important to have the Lords support and guidance. After he is the perfect counselor isn't he? The smartest thing that you can do is date those only who have the same religious convictions as you do. But I think that you also need to put the question to the Lord. I hope this helped, because having someone falling in love with you and the fact that you have to tell them it can never work is one of the hardest things to go through. I know through personal experience. Good Luck, Bonnie
  5. Hey Everyone, I am new here in a way. Let me tell some things about myself. I am 20 years old, I live in SLC, Utah. I am planning on being a wedding planner. I am the oldest of five kids. I love to ski, read, scrapbook, travel, bikeriding, hiking, and just having fun with family and friends. I would to testify of the truthfulness of the gospel. I know that the Savior lives, I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God. I know that the Book of Mormon is a true book and that if we are faithful and trust in the Lord we shall be shown the way and we will return to our Heavenly Father. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
