Seriously, though, how did synchronized swimming wind up as an olympic sport in the first place? What qualifies a sport to be in the olympics? Apparently there was a wardrobe issue with a couple swimmers who had lights built into their costumes. Just when I thought synchronized swimming couldn't get more exciting, it did.
