Is there a civilized way to leave the subject of homosexuality aside and concentrate on more spiritually centered issues? We are devoting way too much energy on the subject. The Church has a position on the issue and one may or not agree with it but that is the end of the story.

If you are a member of the Church and you are standing across the isle from the prophet of God on this issue, you have problems you better hurry up and resolve. If you are not a member and have an opposing view so be it. But since you know what the official position is, advocating a secular opinion really does not add much to the spirit of this forum. You should try a different venue rather than LDS.net.

Just a suggestion.

It is the topic here.. LOL

Jim.. if you don't want further posts.. can't you ask a senior monitor to just close this post? Then hurt feelings on the subject can stop.

Islander is that post for me, if so can you not see that i have been trying my best to resolve any contention, I have prayed and i was wrong, openly admitted.

Why is there so much negativity towards me going on here, this is beginning to worry me now.

I have prayed about it, and again i know i was wrong, hey i dont know what else i can do, you are all standing in judgement against me, i was wrong, wrong, wrong.

Maybe my issues then are with this "forgiving church" maybe it is not so loving, charitable. forgiving.

I cant see what else i can do.

There is no love here.

Been member for many years and never felt this way before.

I feel like i am being driven out.
