Hemidakota Posted July 22, 2008 Report Posted July 22, 2008 I was checking up on the latest update with the releases of the Joseph Smiths papers for publication; ...Let me tell you what I know. Journals, Vol. 1: 1832–1839, as is its full title, is currently available to pre-order on Deseret Book’s website <http://deseretbook.com/store/product?sku=4389351> . It will be available at book stores before Christmas. We have generally announced that the book will be available in “the fall” because the multiple deadlines and standards that still need to be met between now and the actual publication date still require that we be a bit ambiguous with the actual pub date. But the text copy is nearly completely finished now – reviewer’s editions have already been sent out to book reviewers and now the editors are just working on the minutia detail. All in all, we’re on pace and we’re committed to delivering the final product this fall, and, as I mentioned, you can count on it to be available before Christmas. Obviously, I can’t rule out any unforeseen problems, so I may eat my words down the line, but at this point what I said above is pretty secure. Quote
tubaloth Posted July 22, 2008 Report Posted July 22, 2008 Thanks, I have been wondering. It guess looking at Deseret Books site you actually buy it now (For $50) and then they ship it to you when it is out. Quote
