I think of Eve was a person who rather take the easier path for a faster pace in receiving instruction than following the plan setup by Heavenly Father – in waiting for further instruction. She was a inquisitive type person.

My 14-year old daughter and I, been researching the area of the brain that may control other functional parts of that same region.

Here is e-mail:

Okay I found no specific place in the brain where it has complete control over the rest. I have though, found places in the brain where certain areas act as a switchboard operator (as one person puts it) to the major parts of the brain. The Thalamus is located at the center of the brain, and it goes through sensory input and sends them to other parts of the brain according to importance.

I asked this question on yahoo and got this answer.

well their is not thought to be one area of the brain which has executive control over the entire structure, but their are major areas of the brain involved in integrating signals from different sources (areas) to create a response. For instance the Thalamus is considered a major integrator between certain mid brain structures and the cortex. You can think of the Thalamus as a operator switchboard, and is able to relay certain signals from one area of the brain to other areas.

However their is a school of thought out there that motivation and reward drive activity, and their are known localized neuronal circuitries or "pathways" involved in both motivation and reward. Pretty much anything you do is based on the motivation or reward you may get from it, the reward may be negative or positive and determines your motivation to carry out that task. These circuitries are associated with the mesolimbic dopamine pathway, and it basically has to do with dopamine signaling and regulations within a structure of the brain known as the Striatum. Other petrochemicals play a role here too, but dopamine is thought to be a key regulator of the reward and motivation pathway.

My Response back: Perhaps, within this region, there is a 'I AM' in control, which commands are indeed parceled through others that surround that 'I Am'; in facilitating this tasking with passing commands to other regions of the brain as you stated. Being a center of the brain, has some patternization of the Creator being centered of a galaxy. If that is the case, this location on where a Creator is seated, would be filled by others who served with that Creator, in passing commands to other nearby controlling points in the galaxy, one of which is called Kolob that our solar system receives it light. Yes?

What purposes is there for her to search out the meaning of Intelligence?

Joseph Smith clearly taught that if a thing has a beginning then it must have an end. He said: "I take my ring from my finger and liken it unto the mind of man - the immortal part, because it had no beginning. Suppose you cut it in two; then it has a beginning and an end; but join it again, and it

continues one eternal round. So with the spirit of man. AS THE LORD LIVETH, IF IT HAD A BEGINNING, IT WILL HAVE AN END. All the fools and learned and wise men from the beginning of creation, who say the spirit of man had a beginning, PROVE that it must have an end; and if that doctrine is true, then the doctrine of annihilation would be true." DHC 6:311 Joseph was as sure "as the Lord liveth" of this doctrine.

He could have easily elaborated on this principle and said: If the spirit of man began at birth it will have an end and be no more, but if it has always existed then it will exist forever. If a punishment has a beginning then it will have an end. The only way a punishment can last for eternity is if it never had a beginning.

Yes, Joseph taught that. But he also realized that the state of things change. We are eternal, but we're not going to remain spirits or mortals forever. These are but a part of who we will become. Glorified beings did not start out with physical or glorified bodies. Yet, they will retain them for the eternities.

We definitely have existed in some form since the beginning of the eternities. However, we were not necessarily in a spirit state, but perhaps in some intelligence state.

What Joseph Smith meant, or the way I understood it, was that "MAN existed forever," so we are "of" something that has existed forever, so we will exist forever... since we were born of eternal lineage.

Logic has to prevail sometimes. This is one of those times. If "every man, including us," has existed forever then we would all be at the same stage of progression. We would either be saved or damned "at this moment" since we know some are exalted and perfected "at this moment." It's clear that some are created or born at different times than others. It would also mean there would be no more new "men" come into existence so we will not be able to have offspring in the eternities, as has been promised.

Things that are revealed must fit into revelation and truth already given.

The existence of intelligence has always been.. and will always be. What the progression is of each intelligence is of an individual matter.

There are many children that are "born" at the same time and put into the same schools.. and yet some are just further ahead than others. Those that are given "stimulation" advance much quicker.

To have a "vehicle" (spirit body) for our intelligence to reside in is one of the things that God gave us. There was also the fact that in doing so.. he and others "tutor" us. As we gain in knowledge.. we also gain in power and glory. As we gain in power and glory.. it "adds" unto the Father in his power and glory. So though our "vehicles" might change over the course of eternity.. our intelligence remains and grows until we become "perfect" like our Father which is in Heaven is perfect. Then the ability to change form is not what is important. But to share what we learn with others is what God does by "bringing to pass the immortality and eternal life of man." And that is the role of being God.. is then to also do the same to those intelligences that are out there.

The hardest thing for man to comprehend is this thing called "time". It does not exist as we know it so the concept that there are still intelligences out there that have not developed after all this "time"... is hard to comprehend.

on this theory (assuming i'm understanding the interpretation correctly) how do we know god is the ultimate of our goal.... what if he is just a step in the ladder and he is fulfilling his purpose by helping us... and there is something completely different that he will become when he finally gets it right?

can we call this theory evolutionary reincarnation?

I don't believe there is a right or wrong to it. It is just moving forward. We have been told that our reaching the celestial kingdom and being given crowns and such.. adds to the Father and his glory. So it is obvious that things continue to change. The more of us that reach it.. continues to add unto him. And as we do it... and our prodigy grows.. it will then add unto us.. which of course.. adds unto him.

So evolutionary.. yes.. I suppose.. as it does change or evolve. Reincarnation.. I suppose you are saying that we change into what we want to become.. then yes... there is a process to do that.

I mean esentially are we not told we came from there to here and then going back there to be different? Is that not reincarnation?
