Most people who were offended by those shirts, said it would be more appropriate to say "I won't...I'm Mormon." But that sort of takes the humor out of it. Quote

The funny thing is that most non-mormons completely relate to the phrase. In fact, that is the way they would put it if they were mormon. So, the only ones reacting as though the phrase were implying a deep unspeakable desire to sin, are probably the ones with a deep unspeakable desire to sin. Quote
Ray Posted October 15, 2004 Report Posted October 15, 2004 Can you see Jesus wearing a shirt stating: “I can’t, I’m God.” ??? I can’t. And I can’t imagine Him saying that He can’t wear a T-shirt either. Instead, I imagine Him saying “I won’t” Quote

Anyone else have an opinion? I thought it was funny.... and not in bad taste at all; I like the shirts....... I laughed; but then I am not your run of the mill "mormon" either.I said something the other day at work and one of the boys thought that I cussed....and he told me in no uncertain terms..."you are not allowed to cuss in this store" I (being a heck of a lot older than him) turned around and said "WHAT? and why is that?" He just grinned and said..."Because you are you.....it's not allowed... I WON'T allow it" I have to love the kids (sorry....young people) I work with.....they keep me laughing. Quote
