Guest TulipGirl Posted November 29, 2004 Report Posted November 29, 2004 Hi Everyone! I thought I'd introduce myself. I just joined this board yesterday. I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you. I live in Utah and I have two daughters. I'm the YW secretary in our ward. I'm here because I want to make new friends. Quote
Franken Posted November 29, 2004 Report Posted November 29, 2004 Well hello there! Welcome to the board. Nice to meet a fellow Utahn, not that I'm guessing a lot of people here already aren't eh? Quote
StrawberryFields Posted November 29, 2004 Report Posted November 29, 2004 Welcome Tulipgirl, I also live in Utah. This board can be interesting at times. Try not to become discouraged, it is worth staying with it. YW is one of my favorite places to serve. How did you come about selecting your screen name? Quote
Guest TulipGirl Posted November 29, 2004 Report Posted November 29, 2004 Thanks for the warm welcome! I love tulips, and I have hundreds of bulbs planted in our yard. That's why I chose TulipGirl as my name. I'm on several boards like this one, so I'll hang in there if things get slow! Maybe we can liven it up a bit, though. Who knows? Quote
Blessed Posted November 29, 2004 Report Posted November 29, 2004 Well hey there Tulipgirl! I am not a Mormom rather a member of Community of Christ. (But don't hold that against me... ) Looking forward to your posts... :) Quote
Larry Kozlowski Posted November 29, 2004 Report Posted November 29, 2004 I am also of this culture we call Utah. I work out at Ja Hobo Fitness. I am buff. Quote
Jenda Posted November 29, 2004 Report Posted November 29, 2004 Hi, TulipGirl. Welcome to LDStalk. We are a friendly bunch of people (well, most of us, anyway ). Hope to hear lots and lots from you now that you are here. I, also, am not LDS, I am RLDS (Community of Christ). But the only one who holds it against me is Blessed. Quote
john doe Posted December 1, 2004 Report Posted December 1, 2004 Welcome, Tulip. I am also in Utah, but have never been in the YW program, either as a youth or now that I am grown. I am LDS, however. You will find a variety of characters here, some you will like and identify with, others you won't, but it is fun to share ideas with most of them. Quote
