Ghost_Rider Posted February 23, 2009 Report Posted February 23, 2009 Not long ago. someone posted a post about the book of mormon and it was a link to another site. this post had basicaly what amounted to errors so to speak in the book of mormon that were not crossed out but actually corrected within the text. I have been looking for this for the last two days. I kinda need this for a discussion for next saturday. If anybody can find this I would DEEPLY appreciate it!!!! Thanks sooo much for your time!! Dr T Posted February 23, 2009 Report Posted February 23, 2009 I read some of the material that was actually changed from the original published in the 1820 edition or whenever it was published but those were not just gramatical. Is that was u mean GR? Quote
Palerider Posted February 23, 2009 Report Posted February 23, 2009 was this the site........Answers About Mormons and Mormon Belief (LDS FAQ - Latter-day Saints) Quote
Guest SisterofJared Posted February 23, 2009 Report Posted February 23, 2009 ah, it sounds like you're talking about mormon's eraser. We discussed in seminary how mormon would write something, and then say, "in other words... and rephrase what he had said. Think about it, it's etched it metal, not so easy to erase something and re-write it. So the book of Mormon has many places where something is stated, then the phrase, "in other words" and then it is written with more clarity. I don't know an article about that.... it just came to mind when I read the original post. Probably not much help. SoJ Quote
