OmaOpa Posted February 26, 2009 Report Posted February 26, 2009 Hi Oma here, Opa is sleeping. We are both Mormon and both converts. Opa is a returned missionary, I am not. We both have a strong testimony of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Since I (Oma) am the only one awake at my house I will only talk from my heart. Oma and Opa are really Cheryl and Erich. We live in New Braunfels Texas. We are raising our grandchildren Monte (4) and Lexi (3), and taking care of my mother (who also lives with us). So we have quite a full house, and rarely seem to have time for ourselves. I don't get to church as often as I would like, I have cronic back pain, and sitting there for 3 hours can be too much for me to bear. I also get severe anxiety attacks which prohibit me from being around alot of people. I am also very depressed lately and sometimes wish my life would be over. But my grandkids need me so I try to hang in there. Maybe this isn't a good time to chat for me, so I will close for now. Just one last thing; I do know that Christ is our savior, and that his strenght and love will help me out of this slump that I am in. With love to all, goodnight! Quote
lusciouschaos Posted February 26, 2009 Report Posted February 26, 2009 Welcome to the site. You may find some strength and renewed testimony here. Although I am very active and things are going well, I got an answer to something that had bothered me for years, while chatting with a member about the gospel. Felt the Spirit--I hope you will too! RobertP Posted February 26, 2009 Report Posted February 26, 2009 At the risk of repeating myself, I personally can't really say enough about Candida Take Care for, well, lots of things including anxiety/depression. It hits the root cause of many types of anxiety which is nerve poison where other things try to offset the effects of nerve poison. If interested in learning about Candida and other bowel imbalances and how they can affect your outlook, google 'Candida symptoms', see if it matches. I would get the best starter info on it by going to Wellness Resources | High Quality Nutritional Supplements for Weight, Thyroid, Leptin, Health and using the search bar along the top to look up info on Candida, although you can use your own little radar and see where it takes you. The Candida Take Care causes no die off symptoms, just causes the stuff to let go and pass. Having gone through the die off phase more than once, I would recommend this to tone the problem down before going for other things that may kill it more. It belongs in the gut, but needs to be balanced properly. For back pain, I haven't found pain yet that makes it through a combination of Dr Jeff's Joint Cream, google it if interested, 2 pinches of MSM and half of an extra strength Tylenol ground in about an ounce of water, with a few drops of grapefruit seed extract to keep it from going moldy, and a little Icy Hot to warm things up a little. Those three have taken care of all my joint pains, mostly permanently, or going on 10 years now, including tendonitis and severe damage that occurred after an ankle break that hurt badly for about 18 months. Give one or all a try. Together they should take care of most of what ails you in the connective tissue department. :) Quote

marshac Posted February 27, 2009 Report Posted February 27, 2009 Welcome OmaOpa. At first I thought you meant one of these guys-But those are oompa loompas.... For the blues, assuming you're not taking something that's prescribed already, you might try 5-HTP and some L-Theanine for the anxiety. Both can be found at a health food store. Take care and welcome aboard! Quote
