I met one girl I liked right off the bat and I dared her to use the worst pickup lines ever for the rest of the evening. I then used my terrible pickup lines for every bad date after loudly enough that she heard and burst out laughing. I actually got a lot of numbers out of that. Gwen Posted April 15, 2009 Report Share Posted April 15, 2009 lol i laughed so hard when i first heard about speed dating. we never did one as a ysa activity, we figured we had been doing that for yrs. that's what the dances were for. you meet someone for the first time, grill them for 2.5 min, make a quick decision if you want to ever talk to them again, and then change partners and do it again.... only we dance (well deacon shuffle at the very least) while we talk instead of sit at a table. fun times.
