Has anybody been following the recent research into Monatomic elements...the white powder from gold, which is all the rage in NASA these days? I watched a film from 2003 yesterday, Secrets of the Ark of the Covenant, and it was fascinating...gave explanations for Moses feeding his people the gold from the golden calfs, to the way in which the sandstone blocks that made the pyramids were moved...really good stuff...here's a link for anybody that's interested:

Here's a hint:

This stuff belongs with Big Foot, the Fountain of Youth, x-ray glasses, Benny Hinn and little green men from Mars. Still- there's no shortage of people who lack critical thinking skills.

Well Tao...I understand your problem with the site...perhaps doing a Google search for Monatomic elements or something would give you some of the easier sites to read.

I'm not too good at relating everything, but apparently if gold is broken down to its base elements...without the 'glue' that makes it metallic, it consists of a white powder; this white powder was produced in great quantity by the Egyptians and was stored in temples...apparently the word 'worship' was actually 'workship' in the beginning, and the Egyptian temples were not churches as we now make temples, but were 'factories' where this white powder was produced and stored...it is strange in that it is able, due to heating and cooling, to be as light as a feather or x amount of times heavier than it's original gold form...(sorry if my explanation isn't very clear)...the powder is supposed to affect your brain when ingested...studies have been carried out on humans and it was found that instead of the people using mainly their left brain, they began to use both sides of their brains equally, and there have been other claims that the powder can levitate and become invisible...some correlation has been made to Moses returning from Mount Sinai with the Ten Commandments, and upon seeing the Golden Calf being worshipped by his people, he somehow made them eat it...it has been suggested that he did this by making the gold into the white powder and feeding it to the people as 'bread'.

This is all very vague, I know...there is lots more to explain, as in how the white powder can be used to cure cancer and other uses too, it's quite late here so I don't really have the time to explain it all...or remember it all to be honest...Please try looking up some more sites and learn all you can about this...it really is interesting...also...see Aerogel? Please let me know if you manage to find some easier sites regarding this substance...

here's a couple of links that might make my explanation clearer and more interesting:

http://www.whitepowdergold.com/main.shtml

http://graal.co.uk/whitepowdergold.html

The second link is to the book by Laurence Gardner whose lecture I watched yesterday...

I apologize. I mis-spoke when I compared this to Big Foot and the Fountain of Youth. A more appropriate comparison would be to the Easter Bunny and storks being the source of babies.

Still - there is no lack of people who can't think their way out a of wet paper bag and will belive any tripe no matter how goofy.

Thermo-gravimetric analysis has revealed that, at certain high temperatures, the material weight of M-state elements will reduce substantially, even to the degree that they will levitate. In specific circumstances they also have the ability to become superconductive and to resonate in parallel dimensions.

Cue the spooky music... ooohhh, a parallel dimesion, ooohhohhooohhhh!

Of course there's always this: Click Here to Convert Lead to Gold

With all due respect Push, do you really believe this stuff? The English word "worship" was not originally "workship." It comes from the middle English word "weorthscipe" which means worthy of respect. It has nothing whatever to do with Egyptian temples. The only white powder in Egyptian temples would have been the plethora of sand in the region.

Ok everybody, I know this sounds as far fetched as JS receiving the Gold Plates containing the BofM...but you believe that don't you?

Anyway, whatever you feel about it, I recommend watching the film: Lost Secrets of the Sacred Ark, in which all this is described much better than anything I can post on here...

I do agree that plenty of people are going to exploit others' beliefs in this substance and it's uses and overcharge them for bottle containing it...and I do not endorse any of that...

If scientists can utilise the substance for use in medical and space programmes, then why not?

Ha! Good point... Although, no matter how I look at the powder stuff and reason it out in my mind, it just doesn't cause my bosom to burn. :)

Pushka,

I don't have the desire to explain all the reasons but this crap is for idiots and fools. I don't say this to you to be insulting, I have no reason to dislike or insult you personally (seriously). It's just that this kind of nonsense is that about which the phrases "there's a sucker born every minute" and "a fool and his money are soon parted were meant to apply.

It is a sad note that in this day and age when so much true and honest information is so readily available that there are people so poorly educated in critical thinking skills and so ignorant of real science that this kind of idiocy can gain a following.

I suspect that it is not just ignorance and guilibility that fosters this kind of sham but also a sense of desperation and lack of self worth. It's like instead of eating healthily and exercising what we really need is a magic pill to lose weight - ya, that's it; we need Corti-Slim! While mature, intelligent and reasonable adults recognize that weight is a function of discipline, an active lifestyle, and a calorie-sparse/nutrient-dense , the desperate and stupid jump from one fad/magic bullet to the next. Llikewise guible and desperate sad-sacks who want prettier hair, better fingernails, a more confident demeanor, increased comprehension, greater wisdom, more popularity and sonorous eloquence eschew a healthy diet, study, hard work, and personal development and glom onto absurdities like "white powder" that's related to crop circles, stardust, anti-gravity, parallel dimensions, and ark of the covenant.

Come on Pushka, weren't not talking philosophy or religion. This is snake oil.

Ok Snow..I appreciate your comments and views on the above...just thought it might be an interesting subject to bring into the discussions...good to hear other people's points of view...:)

Sure, you’re right. Let’s get some additional opinions. How about Cal? Cal is unbiased. He and I usually disagree so he won’t typically agree with me unless I am undeniably correct.

Cal,

Is there or could there be a remanufactured element called “white powder” or “Orbitally Rearranged Monatomic Elements” that Moses smelted out of volcanic ash to make manna[/a], that is found in crop circles, was part of Jason, the Argonauts and the Golden Fleece not to mention the Ark of the Covenant and whose benefits include but are not limited to the following:

-Restoration of Youth and Vitality

-Opening of the Third Eye

-Cures fungus and yeast infections

-Opens the Gateway to the Next Dimension

-Increases your sex drive

-Allows for the Instant Manifestation of Thought

-Lifts the Veil from Prior Lives

-Makes your hair and nails stronger and prettier

-Offers Extraordinary Knowingness

-Enables Levitation, defying gravity

-Enables Ascension,

-Gives you soft creamy skin that resists bruising

-Is a superconductor

-Removes facial wrinkles

-Cures methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus

-Balances the left brain with the right brain

-Stimulates the 6th sense

-Develops a halo around your body

---and accelerates serendiptiy

Oh, and did I mention that this white powder is sold for $60 in homeopathic form such that the powder is so diluted in water and alcohol that it cannot not be detected or measured?

So, Cal, or anybody else... whaddaya think?

So far, I've agreed with everything you've said about this top, except I think you might have failed to mention alchemy and colloidial silver.

But....I have to warn you right now not to get me started on homeopathy, the ultimate fraud. I am continually amazed (amused) at the caliber of people I actually interact with IRL who actually buy this, um, snake oil.

And, after you don't get me started on homeopathy in general, please don't get me started on nosodes and the anti-vaccination movement.

PS- I think Pushka is being very gracious and I'd personally rather this not regress into some kind of "bash Pushka" thing, even if you are da boss.

Agreed, she is being very gracious. I don't know what her true feeling on the matter are - I am making my comments in general, not at all specific to her personally.

LOL everybody...and thanks for the 'let's not turn this into a Bash Pushka thread' Idacat...

I was introduced to this 'theory' and the film by a friend of mine who I consider to be very talented, intellegent and yet very open-minded on most subjects...I was, at first, very surprised that he believed this theory held any truth, we are both sceptical on people selling this substance heavily diluted! I don't think either of us knows if we really believe any of it, we are just seeing what is out there on the Net about it all, from Nasa to some electrical company in the US, and trying to see if it is real, and if it can explain any of the strange events surrounding Moses and the Golden Calf, in the Bible. We are taking this in a very light humoured fashion, and my friend has been joking with me about buying his own metal detector as he doesn't want to purchase the stuff online, he wants to process it himself...although no-one is giving THAT secret away!!! :D

Have fun everybody!! :P

Okay Pushka,

This is one of those critical thinking thingamajobs I was talking about. The actual historical evidence that Moses was even a real person is nil, zilch, zero. To then propose that a person for whom no evidence exists smelted volcanic ash at 450 degrees 3500 years ago and fed it to his follower in order to sell a product that purports to increase your sex drive and help you remember your prior lives is a bit beyond the pale.

By the way, did you notice the this snakeoil had not be "evaluated by the FDA?" Thats because if the ran any scienticfically controlled, peer reviewed, double-blind studies, the studies would show how worthless the Cortislim, I mean white powder was, and then they couldn't fool anybody. Well that's not true, fools are still born every second and you can always sucker someone but it would be harder if the studies (which they won't do) showed how worthless it was.

The same could be said from those people (like me) that find it difficult to understand why there are those who believe in the JS story (as how the LDS church tells it).

In this case I don't think you even need to engage in critical thinking of the degree necessary to examine the historical evidence of Moses as a "real" individual, even if such evidence IS non existant.

For this you only have to get as critical as high school chemistry.

Really?

The JS story is no more fantastic than that of Job or Noah or Moses or Christ, or Paul, or Mohammed or the Buddha. In other words, it is part religious belief system based on faith, ethics, philosphy, morality etc.

To compare belief systems of the world's great religions to a chemically undetectable powder suspended in alcohol and water that promises shinier hair and anti-gravitation for $60 and ounce is, um, well, thick-headed at best. Need I explain why?

Maureen, yoiu typically don't make such cloddish posts. What's up?
