freckleface Posted June 16, 2009 Report Posted June 16, 2009 I wanted to say that the trinity was always very hard for me to wrap my head around. So I just wouldn't think about it. It's just so much more sensible for me to see them as separate. However, I'm not one to argue or say I'm better because I believe this such and such . . . It's just not my style. Quote
Hemidakota Posted June 16, 2009 Report Posted June 16, 2009 hello,I am not LDS. But I do know very well some people who have grown up in the church and continue to be active, some who were raised in but have left the church, and one who was raised outside the church and joined in college, as well as others less well. I have attended LDS church one time. I consider myself fairly knowledgeable about the church. I am pleased to be a part of these forums. Can anyone who replies to this message tell me (obviously, briefly, if you like) why you believe? Example: "I am convicted in my heart that it is true." Or: "It just makes sense," etc. Thanks in advance, and "hello" again.Like Paul, it was transformation moment in time that change my future. Excellent post...and welcome friend to the forum. Quote

mumof5 Posted June 17, 2009 Report Posted June 17, 2009 hi all! Im a convert. Was baptised just over 6 years ago. I was brought up in the catholic faith. In regards to the LDS church. Well, I prayed about it and pretty much got my answer straight away by way of a beautiful feeling inside and I cried tears of happiness. Ive been to the temple, been sealed, and my testimony has been strengthened and continues each time I go to church, temple, read the scriptures. Quote
mountthepavement Posted June 17, 2009 Author Posted June 17, 2009 · Hidden Hidden It is interesting how the "Christian" world passes by the part of the Bible that thells about what Stefanos saw before he died.... why would he lie ... why would he have such a clair sigt of something that was not true? Death dreams says them..What are you talking about, and why is it on this thread?
