JohnnyRudick Posted June 17, 2009 Report Posted June 17, 2009 Really, calling it "America" is an issue? That surprises me. Can you give me more information about this? No, not an issue:)Just that even though the Book of Mormon opens up in the same asian land that the Bible does, Shortly it brings us across the ocean to the Land of America. . .And continues from here.It prophecies of America's future. . ., it is a book where East goes West and sees the future of both.Yes, I am very excited of the unique, American Scriptures called; The Book of Mormon. It is an Ensign to the World to Come to the Lord's ChristJesus Christ the Son of God.The Savior of the World.Bro. RudickI know it narrates events in America. What I don't understand is what exactly you were saying were the controversial remarks that you had made and which you had prayed about concerning whether they would become part of revelation or something. RudickInstead Satanism creeping into the church leadership, what about, serving our own interest than the Savior or building the kingdom? Seeking fame or power from this position…is it the same phrase, “GIVE ME THOUGH HONOR”, propose by Lucifer in the pre-mortal council? I had experience a few leaders [replace with Presidents or Bishops] who exercised ‘dominance’ within their reign. Then note a residing councilor may and know how to exercise the Spirit with a greater success than the assigned leader. Also, noted within this type of leadership, the lack of team communication skills set, when it is seemed to be one-sided versus a quorum of three or more. Usually, what happens in the end, the councilor stops trying and ask the Savior for release. The Spirit is not present in these cases when they meet unless one of them has invoked it. As I stated before, “either the calling needs us or we need the calling.” Quote
