mesmith Posted July 29, 2009 Report Posted July 29, 2009 Hello all, I'm a newbie with an interest in joining the Mormon faith. I have known and worked with a few Mormons in the past and have had great respect for them as individuals and as members of their religion. I was raised in a Protestant home and have considered myself a Christian for some time although I have not been an active member in a church for over 30 years. For some unknown reason, I googled LDS a couple of days ago and have been enjoying some really great reading. I'm at Chapter 14 of First Nephi and I've also read some history and have read a bunch of good articles at Jeff Lindsay's website. I look forward to getting some good input here and hope to keep learning! Quote
