Maureen Posted July 29, 2009 Report Posted July 29, 2009 He is going to Boise, Idaho. His one brother went to Scotland, the next one went to Hong Kong and in both cases, their parents went to pick them up from their missions. This one will be slightly different. My nephew's Father passed away 4 years ago and his Mother now lives in Idaho Falls, Idaho. They will be less than 5 hours away from each other. She will probably still pick him up in 2 years, it just won't be the great adventure the other ones were. He seems to be excited enough. The mission also covers Utah, Nevada and Oregon, so at least its spread out. Before you know it, he'll be home, married with two kids. :) Quote

HEthePrimate Posted July 30, 2009 Report Posted July 30, 2009 Congratulations to him! My nephew got back a few months ago from his mission to Ft. Worth, Texas. He seems to have enjoyed every minute of it! :) I hope your nephew enjoys his mission, learns a lot, and has much success. HEP Quote

john doe Posted August 1, 2009 Report Posted August 1, 2009 I would think that Boise would also be one of those high baptism-rate missions. If he immerses himself in the work he will undoubtedly have a fruitful and enjoyable mission. Sometimes the ones closest to home are the best ones to go on. Quote
