There was a similar case of this in eastenders, a British soap, a couple of months back. For unknown reasons, a ladys phone number was stored on a prop mobile phone used in the TV show. The number was displayed in full during the episode. This lady suddenly recieved thousands of phone calls, from people asking to speak to the character of the show in question.
