Yes that is very true. Also shows that the emotional connection had been cut at some point which gave way to the diminishing of the sexual relationship. There is a core issue it's not like all of a sudden things changed. Something is wrong.

BUT there are people who have lower/higher sex drives that have nothing to do with an "issue" that either have... it's just their drive is very different. Everyone is different.

I very much agree with this, as I experience it in my own marriage.

Being in sync with each other's needs doesn't mean that the needs are being fulfilled. I am a night person -- always have been. My husband is very much a morning person. It's not uncommon for me to go to bed at 1:00am, and it's also not uncommon for my husband to get up at 4:00am. We are both aware that our sexual needs are not being filled, but we have scheduling issues. The latest my husband pretty much ever goes to bed on a normal night is 10:00pm, which is generally about the earliest I can force myself to go to bed.

The point: there's a lot more that goes into meeting needs than just being on the same page.

I know this may be a crazy thought, but I was thinking about how emotionally your husband is connecting to you and I wondered, does he has Aspergers? Just curious.
