nbblood
Anybody notice that the Cougar Basketball team is having a pretty dang good year so far? Haven't seen anything about it. At 20-2, I'd say they might be worth discussing.
Guest Godless
They're ranked 12th in the nation right now. Not too shabby.

john doe
I was able to get tickets to the Utah game, it was well worth the trip. And although the Cougars lost to New Mexico last week it apparently wasn't enough to bother the rankings, they dropped from #10 to #12 in one poll and remained at #12 in the other. The Utes on the other hand, got the opportunity to go into defensive mode as one of their players lost his cool and nailed a BYU player in the nose with his elbow with the clock stopped in the last seconds of the game as it became clear the Utes were going to lose. It was enough to make the Ute fan who wore the 'proud to be classless' shirt behind us giddy.
