dazed-and-confused Posted April 4, 2010 Report Posted April 4, 2010 okay. you have some options as to different wards. i know that there are wards in all of the buroughs (towns) of NYC. there are also wards in new jersey just across the river fron NYC that are an easy commute to NYC. Burroughs of NYC are queens, brooklyn, staten island, manhattan. in new jersey.....hudson county, including north bergen, union city, weehawken, guttenberg, hoboken, jersey city......and out lying areas...seacaucus, fort lee, ridgefield park, edgewater, bayonne. you might ask your bishop or mission president how to get in touch with these communities. bergen county...fort lee, ridgefield park, and others that i cannot think of right now. good luck. i do so hope you will find something. i love NYC and i think you will love it too. lizzy12 Posted April 4, 2010 Report Posted April 4, 2010 I would contact the bishops in the ward she will be staying and see if anyone is looking for a renter. Quote
rameumptom Posted April 4, 2010 Report Posted April 4, 2010 Just warn him to be careful. So many people on an island can cause it to capsize. At least according to this Congressman:Congressman Warns Guam Might "Capsize" Due to Overcrowding - Politics - Gawker.TV Quote

Jason_J Posted April 6, 2010 Report Posted April 6, 2010 i know that there are wards in all of the buroughs (towns) of NYC.there are also wards in new jersey just across the river fron NYC that are an easy commute to NYC.Burroughs of NYC are queens, brooklyn, staten island, manhattan.I'd say boroughs are more like counties, since they all have "towns" within them. And you forgot the borough of the Bronx I'm from Long Island (grew up here, went to college in DC, and moved back last summer), and work in Manhattan. Quote
