Suzie Posted June 16, 2010 Report Share Posted June 16, 2010 MagenEric, it seems to me that you BOTH need some counseling, psychological to help you guys deal with your past and present issues as well as medical help for BOTH for alcoholism. applepansy Posted June 16, 2010 Report Share Posted June 16, 2010 I agree with Suzie that you need to contact your Bishop. That you keep relapsing is a sign of alcoholism. The church's addiction/12-step program is very good. You can only be responsible for yourself. You may have encouraged your husband to drink but if he didn't want to he would have said no. He has to decide for himself. You have to decide for yourself. Repentance is a personal journey. Please talk to your Bishop. He can direct you to the help you need.
