beefche Posted August 27, 2010 Report Posted August 27, 2010 Yeah, you definitely want to think about what your major's going to be.I was a history major, and was told by several "in-the-know" that university admin deliberately keeps history (and a couple of other liberal arts majors, English among them) pretty "soft" so that the people who flunk out of the rigorous engineering and mathematics programs have a place to land and finish up their degrees without having to stay an extra year.Please. That is so not true. I was an English major from the beginning and it still took me 4.5 years to graduate. Of course that had nothing to do with the academics, but more with my social life. Quote
beefche Posted August 27, 2010 Report Posted August 27, 2010 Ring by Spring or your money back!Another falseness. I'm still waiting for my reimbursement! Quote
Dravin Posted August 27, 2010 Report Posted August 27, 2010 Another falseness. I'm still waiting for my reimbursement! They should have just offered you a ring, it's cheaper. Quote
Tarnished Posted August 27, 2010 Report Posted August 27, 2010 Another falseness. I'm still waiting for my reimbursement! True, it is not actually true, but I did hear it a lot. It actually took me two years at BYU - I before I got my ring. Wouldn't it be nice though? Quote
