MrShorty Posted January 3, 2011 Report Posted January 3, 2011 Sometimes I like to pick up these old children's books that I read as a kid. Maybe it's nostalgia or some other attempt to be young again, I don't know. They can still be fun. This book is about four boys. Two of the boys make a bet for $50 that Billy can't eat 15 worms in 15 days. The book basically follows the bet. Attempts to trick Billy into not eating the worms, and Billy's attempts to get all 15 into his belly. One interesting piece of trivia I never picked up before, the author, Thomas Rockwell, was Norman Rockwell's son. Quote
Dr T Posted January 3, 2011 Report Posted January 3, 2011 I loved that book when I was a kid. I had one of my son's read it too. He liked it also. Quote
Backroads Posted January 4, 2011 Report Posted January 4, 2011 Gosh, I haven't read this book in ages! I think my mom got it for me when I was really sick. Such a fun book! Quote
