kolpaquelds Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 Hello. As any human being, I eventually was interested in the World. To know whats going on and stuff, and of course churches got in the way, the scientists, the "knowers" and stuff like that. The latest achievment in religion I'll have to give to Mormons for sure, i clearly see that all other churches are way way behind. But going further i also understood that everyone's goal should be - to go beyond all that is already here and make it your own. You can either share it or you can keep it, in any case it remains worthy, that is within. That is why i write "Ex-Future" Mormon, first reason i am Guest on the Mormon board, second - I am not really Mormon. So that sums it up. P.S. Something i Enjoy is sharing experience and knowledge that i gain daily and i created my Blog for it Healthy Living Enjoy and participate! Quote
FunkyTown Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 Hi Kolpaque. Welcome. I have to ask - Is English your first language? I ask because I'm not quite sure what you're saying. Could you clarify what your post means? Quote
kolpaquelds Posted January 24, 2011 Author Report Posted January 24, 2011 Hello FunkyTown. Yes, my first language is English. I use unusual way of writing sometimes to bring your attention to certain words. Sorry you had trouble understanding. My post means my Introduction and i wrote a tiny part about my religious views. Thank you. Quote
Guest Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 Welcome to the forum! We look forward to hearing from you on the myriad discussions in here. I'm not quite sure I understand why you say you are an Ex-future Mormon. My first impression on this phrase is that you were planning of becoming a Mormon then you changed your mind - hence ex. Quote
kolpaquelds Posted January 24, 2011 Author Report Posted January 24, 2011 Hello Anatess. Thanks for your welcoming. I say Ex-Future out of respect. Because i am neither one, not the Ex(former, didn't like it) not the Future(wanting to become). I simply came to explore it and i leave it as it is and respect it, because i can clearly see how personal it is. Religion separates you from your True being. You can always find a good religion like Mormon is a very good religion. But the higher goal would be - develop your own. THAT is true religion and THAT is the hardest and most long-term thing to achieve. Thank you. Quote
Wingnut Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 So..........you're just a "non-Mormon" then?Ex-Future Mormon implies that you are Mormon, since it's no longer in the future. Quote
kolpaquelds Posted January 24, 2011 Author Report Posted January 24, 2011 I am not sure if i can explain it more understandable for you, so lets just drop it and say I am NOT Mormon, but i respect every human being on Earth and all that is created. So to keep it simple - I am human. That's all. Don't have a title. Quote
