ladydenmark Posted March 10, 2011 Report Posted March 10, 2011 I am new to this forum. I am not a member of LDS, in my country we are almost born as protestants But my great grandmother and my maternal grandmother were members. And my maternal grandfather emigrated to Utah as a LDS-member. I have learned quite some about "mormonism", and the more more I learn, the more I get fascinated. I have been in SLC last autumn to visit my grandfather's american family, where I bought the KJV bible and Book of Mormon (with D&C), but must admit, that I have only read some here and there. Looking forward to read all your good posts. Kirsten in Denmark Quote

classylady Posted March 11, 2011 Report Posted March 11, 2011 A great majority of my ancestry is from Denmark--pioneers who joined the LDS church there in Denmark and then immigrated to Utah. Welcome! Quote
questioning_seeker Posted March 11, 2011 Report Posted March 11, 2011 Gooday lady, I'm from Australia, and I'm just wondering if having an Australian for a princess has made any difference to how the Danish royal family functions, or what impact her "Australianess" has had? Quote

ladydenmark Posted March 12, 2011 Author Report Posted March 12, 2011 Gooday lady, I'm from Australia, and I'm just wondering if having an Australian for a princess has made any difference to how the Danish royal family functions, or what impact her "Australianess" has had?I don't know if the family functions otherwise than if crownprincess Mary was from somewhere else. But I can talk for myself: It seems like Australia is not that far away anymore Our Crownprince Frederik and crownprincess Mary, their children prince Christian, princess Isabella and the newborn twins are very popular here in Denmark, as is the whole royal family.Kirsten Quote
