In the past I have had issues hanging with the wrong crowd and then experienced with alcohol and tobacco.... I know its not good. I talked to my bishop and it was no problems and I turn in my mission papers. I got my call and ever since my call I have had temptations like crazy. I messed up once, and hung with the wrong crowd and messed up with the word of wisdom... I dont go on my mission for another 4 months. I need advice one what to do? Go talk to my bishop immediately? Will my mission be postponed or could it be resolved and move on before my mission?

The only person that can answer your question is your bishop. It takes however long it takes. People might share their personal experiences and thoughts, but that is all they are. All I can say is... the sooner you start the sooner you can finish.

True that. I just feel so horrible about it and cant believe it actually happened. I think the bishop will be very understanding and work with me i hope. Ever since i got my call, the tempations are stronger than ever.

Whenever I hear 'I can't believe...' I have to ask 'why not?' Were you with the same friends who drink? Or at a party where you knew there would be alcohol? If so, given your history, why are you surprised you drank? If you really didn't want to drink, you wouldn't put yourself in those situations right now. I've never been much of a drinker, and can go in a bar and order a diet Pepsi, but if you can't do that now, if you can't hang with friends who drink without joining them, then you need to put those activities to the side for now.

Yes you need to go to your Bishop immediately. More than likely your mission will be delayed and you will have to be interviewed regularly by your Bishop. It's not going to be the end for you. rather a delay as long as you stay on course. Just tell the truth and get all out, but you need to make sure you repented first.
