My family converted to the Church in 1963 when I was 11 years old. I met my wife at BYU, even though she was from my home town. Go figure! We since, have been married for 40 years, this year, and we have raised one daughter and four sons. My wife and I have loved serving in the Church, in many callings, over the years. I must admit being called as a Bishop in 1983 was especially special and rewarding to me.t In 2001, my life changed when I was stricken with Lyme disease. My wife is also dealing with many illnesses that have changed her life.So the last ten plus years have been full of many challenges. We are so thankful that we have the Gospel in our life to have kept us grounded and optimistic about the future. Isn't the Gospel great!! I look forward to meeting you through these forums and look forward to your comments and feelings about the Work in which we are engaged.
