Okay I collect predictions by people regarding dates...it is a hobby of mine but all of the dooms "dates" for March are unusual...so put on your tin hats because of a few of these predictions may belong in that category...others...not so much.

There is a lot of research about a heavy mass object still coming our direction. The earthquakes I posted about previously in ~188 day cycle are still happening with the more significant earthquakes/earth axis movements happening in the Spring and lesser earthquakes happening in the fall. So the next earth moving/tilting earthquake expected on this cycle will be around March 22, 2012.

February 27, 2010 Concepcton, Chile...8.8 earthquake!

September 4, 2010 Christchurch, New Zealand...7.0 earthquake!

March 11, 2011 Sendai, Japan...9.0 earthquake!

September 15, 2011 7.3 Fiji

March 22, 2012 Next mega earthquake?

"Speaking of which, just to give you a sense of scale of the numbers ahead - think of these as magnification levels if you will - we're presently (today in building tension (b)) at about (b)38. When we get up to the peak of building tension about March 1st, we will be around b78.

When we flip over into release values ® we hit ®216 on March 17th or so, then on to the first of May where it's up to 3,181, and by the end of May we will be at 7,571. And before summer time is out? ® 50,706. And yes, "that's somma bigga change, mama.""

They have been talking about how the data pretty much ends in 2012 for years now...

July 6 and 7

Doomsday Clock moves to five minutes to midnight, 10 January 2012

It is five minutes to midnight. Two years ago, it appeared that world leaders might address the truly global threats that we face. In many cases, that trend has not continued or been reversed. For that reason, the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists is moving the clock hand one minute closer to midnight, back to its time in 2007...

They talk of tensions between superpowers, increased catastrophes/weather changes (climate change) and new biological research that could be used for ill.

...reactor issue…when Iran starts a move toward oil-for-gold it challenges one of the PTB cornerstones: The Petrodollar. Start the timer from here and check the rad meter batteries one more time. They might as well have just spray painted a huge bull’s-eye on Tehran and Bushir… And you do notice the Abe Lincoln is set to transit the Strait of Hormuz in March which is….well, let’s not go there.

Inflation on essential goods and deflation on non-essentials seems to be prevalent right now.

Baltic Dry Index (stuff being moved by shipping) is collapsing again...similar to like how it did in 2008-9 and this does not bode well for the economy in a couple of months.

Deflation is big in the news today also.

President Gordon B. Hinckley's Pharoah's Dream talks...

1999 - 2005 Seven Years of Plenty?

2006 - 2012 Seven Years of Lean?

The first time President Hinckley mentioned Pharaoh’s dream was in 1998 when he said, “I wish to speak to you about temporal matters. As a backdrop for what I wish to say, I read to you a few verses from the 41st chapter of Genesis. Pharaoh, the ruler of Egypt, dreamed dreams which greatly troubled him...And I saw in my dream…seven ears came up in one stalk, full and good: And, behold, seven ears, withered, thin, and blasted with the east wind, sprung up after them.” Then Joseph’s interpretation, “Behold, there come seven years of great plenty throughout all the land of Egypt: And there shall arise after them seven years of famine…And God will shortly bring it to pass (Gen. 41:20, 26, 30, 32). Now, brethren, I want to make it very clear that I am not prophesying, that I am not predicting years of famine in the future. But I am suggesting that the time has come to get our houses in order…There is a portent of stormy weather ahead to which we had better give heed...That’s all I have to say about it, but I wish to say it with all the emphasis of which I am capable.” A portent means something of prophetic or ominous significance. President Hinckley also spoke of the fragile economy, how people are living off of their borrowings instead of earnings and how paying interest is financial bondage. He said that he hoped that there wouldn’t be a depression…twice, but then said he was concerned about all the debt our members are carrying. He talked about how Elder Faust paid off his mortgage quickly, and how content that has made him.6

President Hinckley again referenced Pharaoh’s dream just weeks after the 9/11 terrorist attack in his talk, “The Times In Which We Live.” Pres. Hinckley said, “The economy is particularly vulnerable. We have been counseled again and again concerning self-reliance, concerning debt, concerning thrift. So many of our people are heavily in debt for things that are not entirely necessary.” Then he talked about getting a modest home and paying it off as quickly as possible. He said, “We cannot provide against every contingency. But we can provide against many contingencies. Let the present situation remind us that this we should do. As we have been continuously counseled for more than 60 years, let us have some food set aside that would sustain us for a time in case of need…” He referenced Pharaoh’s dream when he said, “I do not know what the future holds. I do not wish to sound negative, but I wish to remind you of the warnings of scripture and the teachings of the prophets which we have had constantly before us. I cannot forget the great lesson of Pharaoh’s dream of the fat and lean kine and of the full and withered stalks of corn. I cannot dismiss from my mind the grim warnings of the Lord as set forth in the 24th chapter of Matthew. I am familiar, as are you, with the declarations of modern revelation that the time will come when the earth will be cleansed and there will be indescribable distress, with weeping and mourning and lamentation (see D&C 112:24). Now, I do not wish to be an alarmist. I do not wish to be a prophet of doom.”7

Said President Hinckley in October Conference in 2005, “What [calamities] we have experienced in the past was all foretold, and the end is not yet. Just as there have been calamities in the past, we expect more in the future. What do we do? Someone has said it was not raining when Noah built the ark. But he built it, and the rains came…We can heed warnings…the best storehouse is the family storeroom. In words of revelation the Lord has said, ‘Organize yourselves; prepare every needful thing’ (D&C 109:8 ). Our people for three-quarters of a century have been counseled and encouraged to make such preparation as will assure survival should a calamity come. We can set aside some water, basic food, medicine, and clothing to keep us warm. We ought to have a little money laid aside in case of a rainy day…” This talk was given exactly seven years from the date that President Hinckley first gave (as I call it) his “seven years of plenty talk.” In it he again mentioned the dream of Pharaoh when he said, “Let us never lose sight of the dream of Pharaoh concerning the fat cattle and the lean, the full ears of corn and the blasted ears, the meaning of which was interpreted by Joseph to indicate years of plenty and years of scarcity.”8

"In their 1997 book The Fourth Turning, the authors expand the theory to focus on a fourfold cycle of generational types and recurring mood eras in American history.[2]

The theory was developed to describe the history of the United States, including the 13 colonies and their Anglo antecedents, and this is where the most detailed research has been done. However, the authors have also examined generational trends elsewhere in the world and identified similar cycles in several developed countries..." Wiki

The average of the last three crisis periods (16+8+13)/3 has been around 12 years and September 11, 2001 began a new crisis period.

So a possible future timeline for this next Crisis Subcycle could be 2001-2012+ with

2001 - 2008 being the "ramp up and alignment"

2009 - 2012 being the "climax"

2012 - ???? Post crisis/Resolution with a new Founding period

Lindsey Williams (friends with some of what he calls the "elite" and they "tell him things")

Feb. 3, 2012 Timeout Radio Interview Highlights...

Last fall I told you there wasn't going to be a crash in the next 3-4 months. I had been told the elite wanted to create massive debt in every individual, family, city, county, state and nation before they let things collapse. The elite have planned it, we are positively going to see a financial collapse. The collapse was planned 15-20 years ago along with the outsourcing of our industry, etc.

The dollar is no longer the reserve currency of the world.

There is going to be a bank holiday. They did not say when it will happen, although it could be in February or March, but you will have no warning in advance when they devalue the currency by 40 percent. Read Bernanke's speech from Congress where he talks about doing this.

You have a window of opportunity right now to prepare your house...

Post Script...

Predicted "dates" almost never happen! But it is wonderful that "if you are prepared you have no need to fear" such things.

In the June Ensign President Monson told us, “Living welfare principles is about putting our faith in Jesus Christ into action—by eliminating unnecessary debt, living within our means, and establishing family home storage and financial reserves…Our faith leads us to educate our minds and our hands and to work every day of our lives to be self-reliant. Having taken care of our own needs, we are better able to provide for ourselves and serve others. May we follow the counsel not only to do good but strive to be good, not just to do better but to be better. Obedience to the Lord’s counsel brings temporal and spiritual blessings. It allows us to face the challenges of life armed with courage and confidence rather than fear and doubt.”

President Monson also said in October Conference of 2009, “I am reminded of the words of the Lord found in the book of Ether in the Book of Mormon. Said the Lord, ‘Ye cannot cross this great deep save I prepare you against the waves of the sea, and the winds which have gone forth, and the floods which shall come.’ My brothers and sisters, He has prepared us. If we heed His words and live the commandments, we will survive…”While President Monson was talking of spiritual survival, the example he used was of how the Lord prepared a way for the physical survival of his people. Regardless, we are assured that if we heed His words and live the commandments we will be blessed."

Hey...while you might be sayin' I'm not followin'

But I believe that prophets are the mouthpiece of God. I would never want to cram words into President Monson's or any other prophet's mouth.

So are you going to wear a pink tutu and post pictures of it up here in 32 days if the dollar isn't devalued by 40%?

"I do not know what the future holds."

These are the parts of President Hinkley's talks I think that are being overlooked. Rather than worry about world markets, when the dollar will collapse, or when the UN becomes a word only....dunno if that last one is in this thread but it serves my purposes for how I feel about all this.

In essence, the only thing President Hinkley was saying was that we, as members of the LDS Church, have been living on borrowed money and unnecessary debt for far too long, and that it is time we get our houses in order. Bad times are always ahead, no matter what decade it is, or what the current financial world market looks like. We need to begin heeding the words of the prophets.

He stated specifically that he was NOT prophesying about any future event, and specifically stated he did NOT know what the future held.

By the way, the quotes from President Hinkley above came from your own posts on page two. Read ALL the words of the prophets, and not just the ones that support your ideas.

Thats what I mean about putting words in the mouths of prophets.

I'm done here.

How about a tin hat...I warned you going into these posts you might need one for some of them...

Hopefully, we can all make them from the #10 cans we are buying from the Lds Home Storage centers. Don't forget to store at least a 3 month supply of chocolate...we might NEED it.
