Kansas City LDS temple dedication 'monumental' | ksl.com

KANSAS CITY, Kansas — As the sun began to rise in Northwestern Missouri, it was the dawning of a new era for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, with the dedication of a temple in Kansas City.

Sunday morning, leaders of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints dedicated the 137th LDS temple, which was built in Kansas City, Missouri — a city with which the church has a long-standing history.

My cousin got to sing in the choir. Her description of singing in the Celestial room with the Prophet only six feet away was thrilling to me. I hope I get such an opportunity when either the Boise Temple is rededicated, or the Meridian Temple opens (not sure which boundaries we're in yet).
