Of late, I've been slowly working through several of Mark Twain's works, and this is the latest I've read: A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court.

It is the story of an American from New England who gets in a fight and finds himself transported back in time to 6th century England. Through careful prediction of an eclipse, he finds himself a bona fide member of King Arthur's court. With the power provided by his position, he tries to introduce 19 century science, technology, and politics to the middle ages.

All things considered, I enjoyed reading this book.

I so need to read this book... it's inspired so many spinoffs.
