Sister Missionaries Preparing to serve

I just want to see how many sister missionaries are out there preparing to serve. With the new announcement I'm sure there are many. I turned 21 a month before the announcement came, but it was general conference that made me decide to go. Now I am actively preparing and just want to talk with other girls out there in my same situation.

I am preparing to serve! :) I am turning 20 in January. I also was thinking and praying about it, but wasn't exactly planning on going. General conference changed that for me and I feel I have gotten a firm answer to my prayers! I am excited for you too on choosing to serve the Lord!

The only difference is that I cannot serve full time (health reasons) so am looking at other options open to me with help from my Branch President :)

Church released theses figures about mission applications after the announcement.

Missionary applications rose by 471%. More than half being young ladies.

theres now around 7000 a week.

Ditto. I served when I was 21 too. Best experience of my life. I didn't say it wasn't hard. It is! But I wouldn't trade it for anything!
